Founder and principal of Boardwise, Joan Dabon is a governance professional with over nine years of experience as a Chartered Secretary, supporting ASX and NSX listed companies across diverse sectors including mining & resources, technology, manufacturing, automotive, renewable energy, logistics, and distribution.

Her expertise spans IPO readiness, governance frameworks, and strategic board advisory. Previously the Executive Director – Governance (West Coast) at Source Governance, Joan led governance delivery for a broad client base. She holds a Juris Doctor degree and is an Associate Member of the Governance Institute of Australia, combining legal insight with practical governance solutions.

Natalie Teo is an experienced company secretary and has provided corporate advisory, company secretarial and financial reporting services to both ASX and unlisted public companies, as well as private companies. She has played key roles in a variety of transactions, including debt and equity capital raisings, acquisitions, IPOs, and takeovers. Natalie graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing and Management and a Masters in Accounting from Curtin University in Western Australia. Natalie is a Chartered Secretary and an Associate of the Governance Institute of Australia.

Max is a finance professional with over 10 years’ experience in asset finance, helping businesses secure tailored funding solutions to support growth. He holds a Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking and combines strong commercial acumen with operational expertise. Max also provides assistant company secretarial support across governance, compliance, and board administration matters, and is currently undertaking the Certificate in Secretarial Practice Essentials.
